Boulting Environmental Services are one of the very few ISO 9001:2000 certified specialist design and build companies, with all the key development functions in house. Our specialist project teams have a wealth of experience and expertise to provide the complete package for design, installation, commissioning and validation of sophisticated environmental facilities.
The 2000 standard moved the emphasis from documented procedures to one of continuous improvement and therefore we directly monitor, review and feedback all quality related matters from the very outset, through to completion. For example we utilise a shared knowledge bank to ensure cross fertilisation of ideas and solutions and engage in open and frank design reviews.
Our target is for zero snags on completion and therefore we continually monitor quality during construction, these checks are not only carried out by the BES construction manger and site supervisors but also by visiting engineering staff and directors. Where appropriate ‘clean build protocols’ are introduced to control our operations, particularly housekeeping and to reduce the risk of contamination.
The process is finally completed by seeking customer satisfaction feedback, which is also linked back into future project kick off meetings to ensure continual improvement and learning.
