Contract Award by a Major Pharmaceutical Manufacturer

BES are pleased to announce a recent contract award by a major pharmaceutical manufacturer for a major cleanroom refurbishment project at their site situated in the North West of England.

The project will include the construction of an ISO Class 2 Cleanroom (cGMP Class D) and associated areas utilising their existing HVAC plant. The onsite works include demolition of existing internal structures, installation of new cleanroom partition systems, HVAC, specialist piped services, electrical installation, process pipework and commissioning.

This project has the added challenge of the remaining areas and floors of the building being in constant use throughout the project, requiring close co-ordination with the users of the facility.

Project value is approximately £2.2m with work on site due to commence in March 2010 followed by a 44 week construction programme.
