BES carried out the complete design and construction of a new ISO class 5 cleanroom and associated change area within an existing production facility.
Acting as Designer and Principal Contractor under CDM the project was delivered as a full turnkey solution including internal fit out, HVAC, mechanical and electrical services and commissioning.
The new cleanroom was built within a live production facility and therefore we provided a dedicated Site Manager to maintain a good clean build protocol and ensure disruption was minimised.
The existing machine manufacturing area was demolished to allow the new construction to commence. New metal stud and plaster board partition walls were erected along with new underground drainage services; vinyl walls and flooring were then installed. The boundary of the Clean room was extended over the existing production area which was in operation during the construction period.
