Our architectural team has worked together for over 10 years providing a civil, structural and architectural service which compliments our HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical teams. This team has been carefully selected to ensure that a wide range of expertise and knowledge is at your disposal, able to produce a holistic package, tailored to meet your needs.

From Greenfield site to refurbishment we have the technical expertise and expert knowledge to develop a solution which meets your requirements whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant statutory legislation.

Since BES have full design capability covering all major disciplines, we can ensure that our detailed architectural designs are meticulously coordinated with all HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical Services. Our integrated approach means that our customers benefit from the highest quality installations while achieving fast track programmes.

Construction

At concept stage, we work closely with the Local Planning Authority to develop the scheme and liaise with Building Control to ensure full compliance with the Building Regulations.

Site infrastructure requirements are fundamental to a new build and our involvement in the early stages will guarantee that a comprehensive, workable design solution is produced.

Once the location of the new building is established we are able to develop the surrounding site inclusive of roadways, car parking and hard and soft landscaping by assessment of the external circulation.

Following a full site investigation, our in-house team can design and detail a substructure that fully integrates with the associated superstructure. Our expertise in this area covers the detailing of traditional foundations, piling and retaining structures.

The design of the external envelope and the supporting superstructure are significant processes. Utilising modern techniques together with traditional construction methods, we develop buildings which are fit for purpose externally, both technically and aesthetically, whilst meeting all of the functional requirements of the space and its occupants.

Fit Out

We have a detailed knowledge of all the partitioning and ceiling systems available. This, coupled with our knowledge of surface finishes, door manufacturers and flooring options enables us to develop a system that is fully suitable for your application.

In sophisticated environments ‘the devil is in the detail’, and we pride ourselves on the retained knowledge within our team which ensures that all critical success factors are resolved prior to commencement on site.

We will work closely with all parties to produce the User Requirement Specifications which act as the basis of our design and ensures that our solution meets all the critical processing and production needs. Room Data Sheets are produced which clearly set out the fundamental requirements in each room, but also include the requisite fixtures and fittings which are required to provide a fully operational facility immediately on handover.

These documents form the basis of our specifications and the fully coordinated drawings and schedules that we produce to complete the architectural design process. All of these documents and drawings are utilised to provide comprehensive information to our construction teams.
