Health and Safety Advisor

BES are looking to recruit a new Health & Safety Advisor to join our North West team, providing support on various projects across the UK. 
Based in the Rochdale office you will report to the Site Operations Manager, your primary roles and responsibilities are set out below :-
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with the company’s Health & Safety Management Systems
  • Regularly review the company’s procedures and forms to ensure continual improvements
  • Drive suppliers performance improvements
  • Carry out site inspections and produce H&S reports 
  • Carry out Accident investigations 
  • Attend quarterly Health & Safety meetings with the company Directors
  • Complete monthly H&S reports for each project 
  • Promote a positive Health & Safety culture / behaviours across the business and our supply chain 

Knowldge & Experience
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • Construction experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team 
  • Good communication skills
  • IT Literate (Ms Office)
