We're delighted to be supporting Bespak's expansion programme at their Holmes Chapel site, building on the success of a previous project.
As Principal Contractor, we are delivering a new manufacturing facility that will expand production capacity for next-generation low global warming potential (GWP) pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs), helping Bespak meet increasing worldwide demand for inhaled therapies.
Over the past nine months, the project has continued to gather momentum, with the team safely and efficiently delivering a number of major milestones. Highlights of the work completed to date include:
•             34,000m³ of earth moved 
•             More than 4,500 vehicle movements safely managed
•             200+ linear metres of sheet piling installed
•             5,400m² Piling Mat
•             294 CFA piles installed to depths of approximately 17m
•             Pile caps and ground beam foundations completed
 
These milestones have been delivered while maintaining Bespak's day-to-day operations with minimal disruption, reflecting the careful planning, collaboration and expertise of everyone involved.
We're now looking forward to the next phase of the project, with steel erection underway.
Most importantly, we've reached this stage with zero lost-time incidents and no accidents on site. This achievement is a credit to every member of the project team and supply chain partner whose commitment to safety, quality and teamwork continues to drive the project forward.
