As we continue to go from strength to strength, we're thrilled to welcome Suzy Smith to our Sales and Marketing team. Suzy joins BES as Business Development Manager. She will be working from the Milton Keynes office with the focus on developing relationships with clients in the Southern region.
A key milestone has been reached in the design and construction of the new warehouse and packing hall for AstraZeneca in Macclesfield. Following the successful completion of works at high bay and low bay warehouse, we have now commenced the packing pall phase of the project. The packing hall at over 7,500m2 will make provision for 14no grade D primary packing rooms with common secondary accommodation.

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the second phase refurbishment of an existing Tablet Manufacturing Facility for one of the UK's leading blue chip pharmaceutical companies. BES carried out this £3.5 million project on a full turnkey basis, providing full design, construction, commissioning and validation services with the aim of improving the manufacturing process, and layout of an existing facility.

Work on the project at AstraZeneca Macclesfield to build a new warehouse and packing hall, continues at pace, with project completion scheduled for October 2019. The project which commenced in October 2015 is now approaching its next major phase of works.
When it comes to site accommodation, comfort and style are not usually words that come to mind. However, all that is about to change, as we were recently successful in being awarded the £3.5M contract to design and build new site accommodation for the AstraZeneca CPS local projects function at the AstraZeneca Macclesfield site. The new two storey modular building, workshop, and operative welfare facilities, will provide accommodation for our team, the AstraZeneca CPS project management team, and other AstraZeneca term and non-term contract suppliers, design and construction teams.
We are pleased to announce that BES has been awarded a £4 million project to create a new production facility for opioid addiction treatment specialist, Indivior. Designed by BES to complement the existing assets at Indiviors' pharma campus in Hull, the new plant forms part of business continuity planning at Indivior, ensuring the company can continue to meet demand while providing the highest standards of health and safety for employees.
