BES have successfully completed both concept and detailed design for the refurbishment of an existing warehouse facility to form a new clinical trial therapeutic protein manufacturing facility for a large blue chip pharmaceutical manufacturer based in the North East.
BES has completed the construction phase of a £13 million project for global pharmaceutical business and world leader in the treatment of opioid addiction, Indivior. The new research and development (R&D) facility will be used to test and manufacture a non-addictive alternative to methadone, in order to improve patient experience on a global scale.

We are celebrating after winning two categories at the 2017 Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) awards. We won the Staff Driven Improvement of the Year and Employer Engagement with Training Development of the Year award for our in-house 'Personal Effectiveness' scheme. This programme has been devised to help staff to further develop their communication and team working skills. We offer this training programme in addition to our technical, quality and health and safety training.

In our continued strive for improvement of our BIM processes we recently attended a BIM Masterclass course organised by Cadline. The course provided a high level overview of implementation strategy which was particularly useful to our Associate Design Director Darren Lewis and Principal Architect Neil Pulman. In addition, it aligned specific integration processes for a Common Data Environment (CDE) by following the BS1192 procedures which was beneficial for our Revit MEP Coordinator Mike Robinson.
BES have been awarded the contract to carry out the design, construction and commissioning of a new 6000m2 Packing facility, together with the coordination and management of a new build 30 meter High Bay Warehouse.
